How To Save Money On Auto Parts

We know all too well that auto parts today can be expensive. There are, however, ways to reduce the amount spent on auto parts. When buying auto parts locally, I tend to shop at Advance Auto Parts. Of all the local parts stores, theirs seem to be of better quality. I’ve had good luck with their batteries, starters and alternators. I use a couple of strategies to reduce the price of expensive auto parts.

Advance has a rewards program that gives credits on future purchases. Members also get exclusive offers, including coupons, sweepstakes and special events.

Spend More To Save More

No, this isn’t a sales gimmick. Sometimes, my online order total is a little shy of allowing me to use a bigger discounting promo code. To get the bigger discount I simply buy an oil filter, air filter or some other part that I will need in the near future. By buying a part I will need later anyway, I can save the extra 10% or more. The extra part often ends up costing me nothing when the bigger discount is applied.
